At Redback South Africa, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our boots. We stand by our products and offer the following warranty terms.

Warranty Coverage

Redback boots are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase against manufacturing faults. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship only.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by excessive wear and tear or misuse.

  • Damage from water ingress – while Redback boots are made from premium leathers, they are not waterproof as they are unlined.

  • Damage resulting from exposure to corrosive materials/substances or unreasonable abrasion.

  • General deterioration from lack of care and maintenance.

Care Recommendations

To prolong the life of your boots, we recommend keeping the leather clean and waxed regularly to minimise water ingress and maintain quality.

Assessment Process

All warranty claims are assessed at our discretion. Claims can only be processed for boots purchased directly from Redback South Africa. For boots purchased from another retailer, please contact them directly to initiate your warranty claim.

We will normally accept photographic evidence being emailed to us showing the defect, a photo of the underside of the sole, proof of purchase, and a photo of the intact batch number. We may request additional photos if needed. If we authorise a credit or exchange based on photos, your account will only be credited once we receive the boots and the original receipt back and have verified the batch number.

Product Condition

All product tags and labels must remain attached unless otherwise instructed. If the boots show signs of misuse, excessive wear, or unauthorised modification, the claim may be refused. Boots must also be cleaned before they are returned, or else a credit/exchange will not be processed.

Non-Transferable

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the boots and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase must be provided to validate any claim.

Shipping Instructions & Return Address

Please do not ship any products to us until your claim has been submitted, assessed, and approved. Once your refund, return, or exchange is approved, we will provide the correct delivery/return address and any reference details to include on your parcel. Returns sent without prior approval, sent to the wrong address, or missing required reference details may be delayed or refused.
